2 questionsEligibility
11 questions- How do I know if my roof qualifies? The free assessment scores the roof, and that score decides the treatment.
- What is a Roof Health Score? The condition score from your assessment, and the warranty band it sets.
- Can you treat a roof that is leaking? No. A leak is a repair job and has to be fixed before any treatment.
- Can you treat metal roofs? No. Metal roofs are not eligible for the NuRoof range we apply.
- What is checked in a Roof Health Score assessment? The material, the condition of the shingle surface and the repairs the roof needs.
- What score does my roof need to qualify? There is no pass mark. Every band has a treatment, and the band picks it.
- What happens if my roof scores below 21?You land in the Replace band: a short bridge, and an honest plan for a new roof.
- Can my roof health score change over time?Yes. It is a measurement of a roof that keeps aging, taken on a given day.
- Does a low score mean I need a new roof? Not on its own. Low and Critical still take a treatment; below 21 the plan changes.
- How long does the assessment take? One short visit on site, then a written estimate before anything is booked.
- Is the free assessment really free?Yes. No charge for the visit, the score or the written estimate.

2 questionsRoof problems
8 questions- Why are my shingles losing granules? The surface is breaking down, and the granules have nothing left to hold them.
- Why are my shingles curling?A dry shingle stiffens, and its edges lift as it loses flexibility.
- What causes black streaks on a roof?Growth on the shingle, feeding on the surface and holding moisture.
- Why does my roof look faded?Sun takes the colour and the oils together. A treatment will not re-dye it.
- How do I know my roof is drying out?Dull surface, granules in the gutters, brittle edges, water that sits.
- Can it help with algae and moss on shingles? It slows growth by making the surface shed water. It is not a biocide.
- Does sun damage shorten roof life?UV is the main force a shingle ages against, and the range is built for it.
- How does freeze-thaw damage shingles?Water gets in, freezes, expands, and pushes the shingle apart from inside.
After treatment
6 questions- How should I care for my roof after treatment?Keep off it while it cures, then ordinary care: water off, leaks fixed.
- Can I pressure wash my roof after treatment? Not a good idea on an asphalt shingle roof, treated or not.
- Can I install solar panels after treatment?Yes, with two things to tell the installer beforehand.
- Can I get roof repairs after treatment?Yes. Repairs are separate from the cover, and nothing needs stripping off.
- When should I re-treat my roof? When it is drying out again, and the score says so rather than the calendar.
- What if it rains on the day of treatment? We plan around the forecast, and we return free if rain beats us.
Single vs two coats
5 questions- What is the difference between a single coat and a two-coat system? One application, or two coats that carry full cover for the whole term.
- Is Fortify Elite worth it over Fortify?Five more years, full cover instead of reducing, and a hail line.
- Is Revive + Fortify worth it over Revive alone? Two more years, full cover for the whole term, and a higher value.
- When is Boost + Fortify recommended? On a low or critical roof that is worn but not finished.
- What is a bridge treatment?Time, bought deliberately, while a replacement is arranged.
Comparisons
6 questions- Roof rejuvenation vs roof replacement: which is better? For a sound roof, a treatment. For a failed one, replacement.
- Roof rejuvenation vs roof repair?A repair fixes a failure. A treatment protects a surface that is still working.
- Is roof rejuvenation a scam?It is a real category, sold badly by some. Here is how to check.
- Does roof rejuvenation really work?On the right roof, yes. The right roof is the measured part.
- How is GoNano different from other roof rejuvenation products?Four products, one warranty table, and a measured score as the gate.
- Roof rejuvenation vs doing nothing?Doing nothing is free today. The wear carries on regardless.
Cost
6 questions- How much does it cost?No published price. The figure follows the surface, its condition and the treatment.
- Is roof rejuvenation worth the money? It depends on what the score buys you. Here is how to weigh it.
- Does a treated roof add value to my home?We will not put a number on it. Here is what the treatment does document.
- Can it lower my home insurance? We do not claim a premium change. We do provide a certificate.
- Will my insurance company accept a treated roof? That is their call. The certificate makes it a document, not a description.
- Does it help when selling my house or with a home inspection?A scored roof and a registered warranty answer the inspector’s question.
Warranty
17 questions- What does the warranty cover?Peeling, curling or warping caused by the treatment, and water getting through.
- Is the warranty transferable if I sell?Yes. It moves with the house, once, to the next owner.
- What is the difference between prorated and non-prorated coverage?Full value every year, or value that steps down as the term runs out.
- What does "Hybrid: 100% years 1-5, then prorated" mean?Five years at full value, then cover that steps down for the rest of the term.
- What is the max value per square foot? From $1.10 to $2.30, depending on the treatment and the band.
- Is there a square footage cap on the warranty?Yes: 5,000 sq ft, then a proportional reduction.
- What is the 5-year hail coverage on Fortify Elite?Five extra years of cover for hail, on top of a 20-year non-prorated term.
- What size hail is covered?Up to 2-inch hail, NWS-verified, on one row only.
- Does the warranty cover leaks?Water through the treated shingle, yes. A roof that was already leaking, no.
- What are excluded water pathways like flashing, vents and valleys? The cover is written around the treated shingle, not the roof’s joints.
- Does the warranty cover labour? The published remedy ends in a materials allowance, not a labour figure.
- What happens if re-treatment does not fix the problem? The third step: a roofing material allowance.
- How fast does the warranty respond to a claim?30 business days from complete documents.
- What voids the warranty?Registration, the condition score, and the exclusion list.
- What maintenance do I need to do to keep my warranty?Clean gutters, clear debris, trim overhanging branches.
- Do I get a warranty certificate?Registered terms in writing, and an insurance certificate on request.
- What is the 20% re-treatment price lock?A future re-treatment is priced from a fixed discount, not from scratch.
Service area
5 questions- Is roof rejuvenation good for hot, humid climates like Georgia?Heat and humidity are a steady load, and a treated surface dries faster.
- Does it work in Alabama heat and storms?Heat cycling and storm rain are the two loads, and both are surface problems.
- Is it good for North Carolina weather? One state, more than one climate: humid summers and hard freezes inland.
- How does hurricane or storm season affect my roof and warranty?Storm damage is excluded. The hail line is the one exception.
- Do you serve Savannah, GA?Yes. Savannah is the Georgia city confirmed on this site.
Concrete
3 questions- Does Concrete Saver work on driveways?Yes. A driveway is the surface it was built for.
- Does it stop salt and water damage on concrete? It keeps salt and water out of the pores, which is where the damage starts.
- Can you treat a patio and walkway at the same time as my roof?Ask for both at the assessment and the visit can be planned together.
Still not sure?
Ask us at the assessment
The assessment is free and there is no obligation. If a treatment is not the right answer for your roof, we will tell you that at the visit.
