What you get for nothing
A scored roof, an explanation of what the score means for the treatment and warranty term, and the scope and price in writing. Those are the three outputs of the visit, and none of them are billed.
The point of it is that a treatment can only be quoted against a measured roof. Quoting blind would either overstate what the roof needs or promise a term the condition does not support.
Why there is no pressure attached
The estimate is a document, not a decision. You can compare it against a replacement quote, sit on it, or do nothing with it. Nothing is scheduled until you ask for a date.
There is also no penalty for a visit that ends with no work: if the roof is not eligible, or a treatment will not hold, the answer is no and the visit still costs nothing.
When the answer is no
Three situations end the conversation honestly. A metal roof, which is not eligible for the NuRoof range at all. A roof that is leaking or has soft spots, where repair comes first. And a roof in the Replace band, where the answer is a new roof and a short bridge only if you need time.
Hearing that at a free visit is cheaper than hearing it after work is booked.
What to have ready
Your address, so service can be confirmed, and your own observations if you have any: a stain on a ceiling, granules in the gutters, a slope that stays damp. Those details help us look at the right things when we arrive.
Everything else is answered at the visit.
What it does not include
It is not a general contractor visit and it does not price a re-roof. It is an assessment of the surface we would treat, and the estimate that follows covers the treatment and any minor repairs listed with it.
If the roof turns out to need a replacement, that is a different job and a different quote, and you will hear it at the visit rather than after the work has been scheduled.
