The bands and what they carry
The score runs from 0 to 100 and is read in six bands. Each band is a different answer, not a pass or fail, because a roof that has dried out is not the same roof as one that is simply old.
Good (90-100) and Fair (75-89) are roofs that are still doing their job. Aging (44-74) is a roof that has dried out but is still sound. Low (35-43) and Critical (21-34) are roofs close to the end of their working life, and Replace (0-20) is the point where the honest conversation is about replacement.
- Good or Fair: Fortify, the single-coat UV shield, or Fortify Elite, the two-coat build
- Aging: Revive, which restores flexibility to dried-out shingles
- Low or Critical: Boost, or Boost combined with Fortify as a two-coat system
- Replace: the Boost bridge only, for the short term
Why the material can rule a roof out
The score is not the only gate. The range is built for asphalt shingle roofs, and metal roofs are not eligible for this treatment at all, whatever condition they are in. Flat and SBS membrane roofs are not part of the range either, with one exception set out in the warranty table: Fortify and Fortify Elite can be applied to SBS membrane, and Boost and Revive cannot.
If your roof is metal, the assessment ends that conversation quickly and there is no charge for hearing it.
What a score in each band is worth
The term follows the band as well, which is why the score is worth knowing before you compare anything. On a roof scored Good, Fortify Elite carries 20 years non-prorated plus 5 years of hail coverage, and the same build on Fair carries 15 years. Fortify is 15 years on Good and 12 years on Fair.
Revive is 10 years on Aging and 7 years on Low or Critical. Boost is 5 years on Low or Critical, or 10 years when it is applied with Fortify.
What to do before you book
Nothing on this site replaces the measured score, and no page will tell you what your roof will score. The finder gives an estimated zone from two answers so you can see the shape of the coverage, but the assessment is where the number is set.
The estimate that follows the visit puts the treatment, the scope, the term and the price in writing. If the score puts your roof in a band where a treatment will not hold, we say so at the visit rather than book the work.
