Why we do not publish a number
A price printed on a website has to assume a roof. Size, pitch, how cut-up the surface is, how much cleaning is needed, whether minor repairs are involved, and which treatment the condition score supports all move the figure. Publishing one number would mean quoting the best case to everyone and changing it at the door.
So the number arrives the way it should: after somebody has stood on the roof and scored it. The assessment and the written estimate are free and carry no obligation.
What actually goes into the figure
The estimate is built from the work, not from a package. These are the things that change it on a real roof.
You see all of it in writing before anything is booked, so there is no line that appears on the day.
- The measured surface area, not the footprint of the house
- The treatment the condition score supports: Fortify Elite, Fortify, Revive or Boost
- Single application or the combined build, where the band allows both
- Cleaning, where the surface needs it to take the treatment
- Any minor repairs listed before work is scheduled
- Access: steep, tall or cut-up roofs take more care and more time
How the treatment choice changes it
The range is four different builds rather than one product at four prices. A two-coat Fortify Elite on a roof scored Good is not the same job as a single coat of Fortify, and it is not the same job as a Boost bridge on a roof in critical condition.
That is why two neighbours with similar houses can receive different figures: their roofs scored differently, and the honest recommendation followed the score. A lower figure is not a discount on the same thing; it reflects a different treatment for a different condition.
How it compares with a replacement
A treatment is a fraction of a full replacement, and the difference is not only money. A replacement means a tear-off, a dumpster, days of work and the old shingles going to landfill. A treatment is about two hours on site, in one visit, with nothing removed.
The comparison card on this page uses illustrative amounts on three roof sizes so you can see the shape of the difference. Those figures are examples in USD, not a quote, and they are labelled that way. Your assessment confirms the actual cost for your roof.
What you get in writing
After the visit you receive the treatment matched to your score, the scope of the work, any minor repairs, and the price. The warranty terms come with it, so you can see the coverage that applies to the treatment being offered before you decide.
Nothing is scheduled until you accept the estimate, and there is no charge for the assessment or the writing of it.
The one discount that is published
The warranty includes a 20% price lock on a future re-treatment. That is the only figure we put in public, because it is a term of the warranty rather than a price.
Financing is not something this site publishes. If it matters for your project, ask when you request the assessment and we will tell you what is available rather than leave you guessing.
