Why a per-square-foot figure exists
A roof warranty has to describe value in a way that scales with the roof it is on, because a 900 square foot bungalow and a large two-storey house have very different amounts of shingle. Value per square foot is that unit.
It is not a price and it is not a refund figure. It is the maximum value the warranty attaches to the treated surface for that row, and it travels with the row rather than being averaged across the range.
The figures, row by row
The value rises with the build. Boost, the single hydrophobic coat, sits at the lower end. Revive sits above it, Fortify above that, and the two-coat builds at the top, with Fortify Elite the highest figure in the table.
Booster combinations carry a higher value than the same product applied alone, because two coats and a longer non-prorated term are a different product.
- Boost: $1.10 per sq ft on Low, Critical and the Replace bridge
- Revive: $1.40 per sq ft on Aging, Low and Critical
- Boost + Fortify: $1.50 per sq ft on Low and Critical
- Revive + Fortify: $2.00 per sq ft on Aging
- Fortify: $1.60 per sq ft on Good and Fair
- Fortify Elite: $2.30 per sq ft on Good and Fair
What it does not tell you
It does not tell you what a treatment costs, and this site publishes no treatment prices at all. Price depends on the surface, its condition and the treatment it needs, which is why the number arrives in writing after the free assessment.
It also does not tell you the total value of a warranty on your house, because that depends on the measured area of the roof and on the row issued.
Where to find the figure for your roof
Every card in the warranty finder prints the figure for the option it shows, and the full table lists it as a column against every row. Your written estimate names the row that applies to your roof.
The terms that come with the estimate carry the full wording behind the figure.
