What you receive
The written terms, which arrive with the estimate before anything is booked. Then the registered warranty after the work, which records what was applied and the band the roof scored.
Between the two, you hold the scope, the price, the treatment and the term in writing, rather than a verbal promise and a business card.
Why registration is the document that counts
The terms must be registered within 30 days of the treatment, and we handle that after the visit. A registered warranty is the version that has a record behind it: the band, the row and the date, all traceable.
That is also the document a buyer asks for at a resale, and the one that matters if a claim is ever made.
If you need it for an insurer
An insurance certificate for the treatment is available on request. It says what was applied and when, which is usually what a provider wants to see. No insurance discount is guaranteed, either by the certificate or by the treatment.
What your policy then does with it is your provider’s decision, and we make no claim about premiums or cover on their behalf.
Keep these together
The estimate, the registered warranty and any insurance certificate belong in the same folder as the rest of the house paperwork. They answer the questions a buyer, an insurer or an inspector will ask about the roof years later.
If you cannot find them later, ask us: the registration is on record.
Why a document beats a verbal promise
A warranty that exists only in a conversation cannot be handed to a buyer, read by an insurer, or produced at a claim. The three documents here exist to be handed over, and the registration is what gives them a record behind them.
That is also why we do not describe the cover beyond what the terms say. A document that overstates is worse than a modest one that holds.
What is on the record
The treatment applied, the band the roof scored, the date and the term. If a later question arises, the record answers it without relying on anyone’s recollection.
Registration happens after the work, inside the 30-day window the terms set, and it is handled for you rather than left to you.
