GoNano is the manufacturer behind every treatment we apply. An interview with its founder is worth reading if you want to understand where the technology came from and why the company sells through certified dealers rather than direct.
What the interview covers
The conversation is about the product rather than the pitch: how the nano-scale chemistry was developed, what it is doing inside the surface, and where the company believes it fits next to repair and replacement.
It also covers the commercial model. GoNano supplies and warrants the product; local dealers apply it. That split is why the warranty comes from the manufacturer rather than from the contractor alone.
Why the dealer model matters to a homeowner
A manufacturer warranty is only as good as the application it covers. Selling through certified dealers is how the company keeps control of that: the people applying the product are trained on it, and the warranty is registered against the work.
For you, the practical consequence is that the certificate you receive is issued by GoNano, and the contractor who applied it is identifiable on it.
What we take from it
Two things. First, this is a chemistry argument, not a coating argument: the product is designed to go into the material. Second, the company is explicit that protection applies to surfaces that are still sound.
We score every roof before quoting for the same reason. The product is not sold as a rescue for a failed surface.

The full conversation, in the founder’s own words, is published in GoNano’s library. We link to it below rather than paraphrasing statements we would rather you read directly.
If you would rather see the result on a roof, the free assessment is the shorter route.

Questions
Common questions, answered in full
- How long does roof rejuvenation last?Coverage runs from 3 to 20 years, and the roof’s condition score decides which.
- Can you treat a roof that is leaking? No. A leak is a repair job and has to be fixed before any treatment.
- What does the warranty cover?Peeling, curling or warping caused by the treatment, and water getting through.
